Transnational programmes

IMC programmes are designed for the global market. Offered in collaboration with partner universities from Azerbaijan, China, Egypt and Uzbekistan to Vietnam, our transnational programmes are taught in English.

They combine European academic standards with industry-focused learning and culminate in an internationally recognised Austrian bachelor degree, connecting students to a global network that accelerates careers across borders.

3 Reasons

Why choose the transnational programmes at IMC Krems?

Global-Standard Education with Local Access

Studying in your home country doesn’t mean compromising on quality. With state-of-the-art curricula and English as the language of instruction, students gain a learning experience that reflects the highest European standards while staying rooted in their local context. This combination makes the programmes both internationally relevant and regionally accessible.

Graduates receive an Austrian bachelor degree that is valued by employers and universities across the world. This recognition ensures that whether you continue to postgraduate study or enter the workforce directly, your qualifications carry weight both at home and abroad.

Hands-On Learning

Learning extends beyond the classroom through strong integration of academic theory with real-world application. International lecturers bring diverse perspectives and case studies, helping students understand how global trends play out locally and how local practices contribute to the international tourism industry.

The compulsory internship semester gives students the chance to experience professional life first-hand. Whether undertaken domestically or overseas, this opportunity strengthens practical skills, builds confidence, and enhances employability by connecting classroom knowledge with workplace realities.

Global Opportunities

Beyond their local studies, students can broaden their perspectives through an optional exchange semester in Austria. This unique experience provides direct exposure to European culture and industry practices, complementing the knowledge gained at the partner university.

Graduates also become part of an international alumni network that spans multiple continents. This global community not only creates opportunities for professional exchange and collaboration but also supports long-term career development by connecting like-minded individuals across borders.
