University as a partner
Partnerships that shape the future
Our collaborations with companies range from selective cooperation in research, teaching or recruiting to strategic partnerships – the closest form of cooperation with IMC Krems.
These partnerships create long-term added value: companies benefit from scientific expertise, practical training, direct access to talent and a strong positioning as innovation partners.
This is how we create a network that shares knowledge, develops potential and shapes the future – together with our partners.
Strategic partnerships
Strategic partnerships at IMC Krems are based on long-term cooperation with selected companies. Together, we pursue a clear vision: to combine research, teaching and practice in a sustainable way.
By cooperating in areas such as research, educational projects, internships or joint communication activities, we create win-win situations – for our partner companies as well as for students and teachers.
Companies benefit from a strong network, image enhancement and continuous recruitment opportunities, while our students gain valuable insights into practice. This is how future-oriented partnerships are created.
Research partnerships
IMC Krems cooperates closely with companies that want to actively shape innovation. Our research partnerships combine science and practice with the aim of developing new solutions and jointly advancing knowledge.
Together with our partners, we carry out third-party-funded research projects, develop innovations and create practical results that have a direct impact on the economy and society.
Research partners benefit from scientific expertise, increased visibility and access to the latest findings. Intensive knowledge and technology transfer creates synergies that promote sustainable innovation – for a strong alliance between applied research and business practice.
Education partnerships
Our education partners provide practical experience in teaching. Companies and experts actively participate in course design through guest lectures, joint project work, and thesis supervision. This creates a lively exchange between the university and the business world, from which both students and teachers benefit.
Regular contributions from the world of work ensure that our course content remains up to date and promote the employability of our students. At the same time, education partners gain valuable insights into current research and teaching – and can actively contribute to further developing our courses through their input.
This is how we create a programme with a strong practical focus that optimally prepares students for the requirements of the job market.
Recruiting partnerships
Our recruiting partners benefit from direct access to highly qualified students and graduates of IMC Krems. Companies conclude recruiting agreements as a partner or premium partner on JobTeaser, our digital career platform, and present themselves as attractive employers, establishing valuable contacts with future talent at an early stage.
In addition to a presence on our digital career platform, we offer a wide range of exclusive recruiting formats – from job and career fairs to topic-specific networking events. This allows us to create practical encounters between students, alumni and companies.
Recruiting partnerships not only strengthen visibility and reputation as an employer but also contribute to the long-term employability of our graduates. Regular exchanges on labour market trends generate mutual added value for companies, students and universities alike.
Internship partnerships
Practice-oriented learning is an essential part of the IMC study model. Our internship partnerships create valuable connections between the university and business, enabling students to gain early insights into their future career field.
Internship companies
Our internship companies regularly offer high-quality internships for students in the fields of business, health, and science & technology. Students gain practical insights that both support their career orientation and facilitate the transfer of theoretical knowledge into practice. At the same time, companies benefit from direct contact with committed young professionals and can retain talent at an early stage.
Internship partners
Our internship partners in Austria make an important contribution to internationalisation: they offer English-speaking students targeted internship opportunities, thereby supporting international talent in their career entry. With up to three internship positions per year, they contribute significantly to the quality and diversity of the IMC internship programme and accelerate the successful placement of suitable internships.
Your path to a strategic partnership
IMC Krems offers companies a clearly structured model for strategic partnerships – with individual focuses on research and development, teaching and practical integration, talent promotion and joint public relations work.
Each cooperation is tailored to the specific goals and opportunities of the partner company. Whether joint research projects, practical courses, theses, excursions or recruiting formats – the partnership creates measurable added value for both parties.
We would be happy to talk about the forms of cooperation best suited to your company in a personal meeting.
