Just an hour’s drive from the Austrian capital Vienna and Vienna International Airport, Krems is an increasingly popular location for domestic and international conferences, symposiums, seminars and meetings.
Krems is located on the Danube and right next to the Wachau: a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Region with an up-and-coming tourism industry right on Vienna’s doorstep.
The International Meeting Center
Opened in 2012 and featuring a state-of-the-art events hall, IMC Krems’ International Meeting Center has become a hugely popular venue and a unique amenity in a town famous for excellent wine and its diverse cultural attractions.
It offers premium facilities for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) and has a maximum capacity of 540.
The venue is suitable for a variety of events: meetings, retreats, conferences, training seminars, symposiums and business functions.

Gozzoburg castle – an urban castle built as a high-status residence and place of work – is the town’s historic centrepiece and a popular destination for visitors.
It now features a modern events area with state-of-the art function rooms in the building’s historic spaces – including the Wappensaal, a hall which is perfect for exclusive events.

You deal with these companies directly to arrange, confirm and pay for the services you require. Please ensure that you make bookings at least three weeks in advance of the event. We will be happy to put you in touch with the respective contact persons.
Event and audio-visual equipment
We are particularly proud of the high-quality equipment in our event facilities. Projectors and screens, for example, are available in all seminar rooms.
