IMC Krems has reached another milestone in its international development: the cooperation with the renowned King Saud University (KSU) is now being put into practice. As early as autumn 2025, the first four female students from Saudi Arabia will begin their studies in the bachelor degree programme Tourism and Leisure Management in Krems. For 2026, the number of students is already planned to increase to ten – a clear sign of the success of this partnership.

Innovative 3+1 model
At the heart of the collaboration lies a 3+1 study model in Tourism Management: three years at KSU in Riyadh and one year at IMC Krems lead to a double degree. This opens up excellent opportunities for graduates on the global job market.
Practice-oriented education with an international perspective
In addition, IMC Krems supports a hotel management diploma funded by the Saudi Ministry of Tourism. Parts of this practice-oriented programme take place in Austria, enabling students to gain valuable insights into European tourism and hospitality culture.

With the implementation of this cooperation, IMC Krems reaffirms its mission to advance education and research across borders.
