With the Element Health kick-off on 12 November, IMC Krems made a strong statement in favour of greater mindfulness, physical activity, and mental strength in everyday life. The IMC health programme aims to contribute to more balance and well-being in the long term.

Mental health and resilience at IMC Krems

Many employees took the opportunity to start the day together:
A refreshing start with Kombucha mocktails
The Hospitality Lounge invited everyone to relax and enjoy the morning: IMC staff had the chance to sample various Kombucha mocktails from bootch. Mighty Mint, Mango Punch and Plum & Play: the refreshing drinks created a cheerful atmosphere and a revitalising start to the day.
A wide range of workshops on health and well-being
The programme offered a diverse selection of workshops focusing on resilience, mindfulness, and balance.
- The “Hands-on Music Therapy” workshop („Musiktherapie zum Angreifen“) provided participants with an overview of music medicine and therapy. It then moved on to a collaborative exploration of music-based interventions, giving participants the chance to try out different musical instruments.
- In “Pathways to Resilience” („Wege zur Resilienz“), participants learned how to find joy even in times of pain.
- The “Screen Balance” workshop („Bildschirm Balance“) addressed screen work, workplace health prevention from a physiotherapeutic perspective, and ergonomic practices for the digital working environment.
- The programme was rounded off with “Breathing Techniques for Stress” („Atemtechniken bei Stress“), featuring simple methods for conscious breathing and relaxation.
Digital detox and mindful breaks
A central element of the day was the collective digital detox. Many participants took the opportunity to refrain from using their smartphones, laptops, and tablets – both during the workshops and throughout a phone-free lunch break.
Outlook for the 2025/26 programme year
The focus of the 2025/26 health programme will be on mental health and resilience. Alongside the kick-off, the new Element Health Programme 2025/26 was introduced, offering a wide range of activities throughout the year to integrate health, nutrition, exercise, mental strength, and occupational health into everyday working life.
