About the Project
The research project NICO (Navigating Informal Caregivers' Occupational Balance) develops an AI-supported, browser-based solution to help informal caregivers access appropriate support services, promoting health, well-being, and occupational balance. Combining expertise in health sciences, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence, IMC Krems and Duervation GmbH are collaboratively developing and evaluating a user-centred prototype using co-design and AI-driven approaches.

Your tasks
You are a pioneer in your field
- Conduct qualitative research activities, including interviews and focus groups.
- Identify, map, and analyse health and social care services available in Austria.
- Contribute to data analysis and the interpretation of research findings.
- Support the planning and facilitation of co-design workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Contribute to scientific publications, conference presentations, and project reports.
- Assist with knowledge translation, dissemination, and outreach activities.
Your profile
You have an open-minded profile
- Completed Master's degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing Science, Psychology, Sociology, Health Services Research, or a related field.
- Experience with qualitative research methods and participatory research approaches, as well as proficiency in qualitative data analysis software (e.g., MAXQDA or NVivo).
- Experience in scientific writing and publishing.
- Interest in Digital Health, Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, Ageing, and Informal Caregiving.
- Motivation to further develop an independent academic profile, for example through doctoral (PhD) studies.
- Excellent English skills and good German skills, both written and spoken, are required.

IMC Krems is not subject to a collective agreement. For this position we offer a monthly gross salary of Euro 1.940,-- on a parttime basis (25 hours per week) and master degree.
This position is limited from February 2027 to the end of December 2029.
