Working together in the international wine business

Long-standing cooperation
There has already been a close and extremely successful cooperation between WINZER KREMS and the International Wine Business programme, which is now set to be further expanded in a targeted manner. A key element of the collaboration is an annual lecture for first-semester students held in the Veltlinersaal at WINZER KREMS. In addition, company visits and guided tours are organised on a regular basis, providing students with in-depth insights into the company, its processes and its international focus.
Furthermore, WINZER KREMS continuously supports the programme and selected events through wine sponsorship, thereby actively contributing to the integration of theory and practice.
The close connection through our alumni is also particularly pleasing – Thomas Brunner, a graduate of the programme and now Head of Exports at WINZER KREMS, as well as Tobias Frings, who is part of his team, clearly demonstrate the programme’s successful integration within the company.
Further cooperation initiatives are planned for the future, including the supervision of bachelor’s theses for WINZER KREMS and potential participation in summer schools, with a view to further deepening knowledge transfer and collaboration.
Strategic Partnerships
Strategic partnerships at IMC Krems represent long-term collaboration with selected companies. Together, we pursue a clear vision: to sustainably integrate research, teaching and professional practice.
