Why Business Administration at IMC Krems offers new perspectives

Dosca Linella from Moldova studies Business Administration at IMC Krems in her first semester. She chose the bachelor degree programme because of its broad structure and balanced approach. The programme provides a solid foundation in business while allowing enough flexibility to combine studies with work and personal interests.

“Studying in Austria felt like the right step for my future,” Dosca explains. “Moving to a new country was challenging at first, but it helped me become more independent and confident.”

“The programme gives me a strong understanding of business while remaining well balanced,” Dosca explains. The Monday to Wednesday schedule offers the flexibility to combine studies with work, travel and personal time.

A learning environment built on personal support

One of the aspects Dosca values most at IMC Krems is the close and personal learning environment. Small class sizes and direct contact with lecturers create a strong sense of community and support throughout the programme.

“The lecturers know us by name, which makes the learning experience very personal and motivating,” she says.

The programme director, Alexandra Kuhnle-Schadn, combines professionalism with kindness and plays an important role in shaping the learning environment. Her approach encourages students to develop confidence throughout their studies.

Why studying in Austria felt like the right decision

Choosing Austria as a study destination was an important step for Dosca’s future. The high quality of life, the food, the architecture and the proximity to Vienna all played a key role in her decision.

“Studying in Austria felt like the right step for my future,” Dosca explains. “Moving to a new country was challenging at first, but it helped me become more independent and confident.”

Outside her studies, she enjoys exploring new places, travelling and taking part in university events. Networking and building connections are an essential part of student life for her.

Clear goals beyond the bachelor degree programme

After completing her Business Administration bachelor degree programme, Dosca plans to continue her academic journey with a master degree programme in Finance or Microeconomics. Her long-term goal is to work in a large corporation in Vienna, ideally in the fields of Marketing or Finance and Investment.

Studying at IMC Krems has shaped both her academic direction and her personal development. The programme has helped her gain clarity about her future whilestrengthening her confidence and independence.
