IMC Krems and B. Braun expand their collaboration

IMC Krems is expanding its network of corporate partnerships and launching a new strategic partnership with the internationally active medical technology and pharmaceutical company B. Braun.

B. Braun - Cooperation - Contract
Manfred Pferzinger, Director of the Health Management Institute and Program Director of Health Care Management at IMC Krems; Manuela Schweiger, Head of Human Resources at B. Braun; Birgit Bauer, Head of Marketing and Business Operations at B. Braun; Bernhard Dollensky, Chief Operating Manager at IMC Krems; and Nicolas Aron, Business & Career Services at IMC Krems.

The collaboration is cross-departmental in nature and is expected to encompass several degree programs and institutes at IMC Krems in the future. The partnership was initiated through targeted network development by Nicolas Aron from Business & Career Services. B. Braun had previously been connected to IMC Krems as an internship provider. Building on this successful collaboration, the idea arose to orient the partnership more broadly and strategically in the future. B. Braun envisions collaboration in both research and teaching across various degree programs. A first concrete focus is already under intensive discussion: Manfred Pferzinger is currently in talks with B. Braun to secure the company as a partner for future real-world case studies.
In addition, further joint activities are planned, including master’s theses and guest lectures by experts from the company, and B. Braun is also open to research collaboration. A visible symbol of the new partnership was unveiled on May 28, 2026, at the Krems campus: Bernhard Dollensky presented the IMC Krems partnership plaque to Birgit Bauer, Head of Marketing & Business.
