Graduation Ceremonies at IMC Krems

A highlight of the academic year: Around 400 graduates celebrated the successful completion of their studies

From 20–24 October, IMC graduates from the fields of business, health, and science & technology celebrated the completion of their studies. They were joined by their families, friends, the University Management, Programme Directors and the entire IMC team in celebrating this milestone.

A festive setting for the graduation ceremonies

The graduation ceremonies took place in a festive atmosphere in the event hall on the IMC Campus Krems. A total of 400 alumni from 13 bachelor degree programmes and ten master degree programmes proudly celebrated their achievements. For the first time, graduates of the Gesundheits- und Krankenpflege bachelor degree programme at the Mistelbach study location celebrated their graduation.

For those unable to attend in person, the ceremonies were - as always - streamed live.

During the celebrations, the graduates were introduced and took their oaths. The conferral of academic degrees took place in the presence of the University Management: CEO Udo Brändle, COO Bernhard Dollensky, Interim Academic Head Manfred Pferzinger, Authorised Signatory Michaela Sabathiel, and the Programme Directors congratulated the alumni.

Graduations as a reflection of IMC values

The atmosphere at the graduation ceremonies reflected the characteristic strengths of IMC Krems: a genuine enthusiasm for education and research, strong commitment, internationality and diversity, a deep thirst for knowledge, and dedication to lifelong learning.

“Our alumni form a large community of people with excellent prospects on the job market. The festive atmosphere at the graduation ceremonies impressively demonstrates the enthusiasm, pride and sense of unity that define our university of applied sciences. A wonderful conclusion to years of intensive learning and shared achievement,” said Manfred Pferzinger, clearly impressed by the ambience.
