A strong alumni network does not emerge by chance – it is built through genuine connections, shared experiences and people who are willing to give back to their community. At IMC Krems, our Alumni Ambassador Network plays a key role in bringing graduates together across borders and generations, helping to create a vibrant global community that extends far beyond campus.

Building a global IMC Krems community: The power of our Alumni Ambassador Network

Today, IMC Krems alumni live in Austria or work all around the world. Through the commitment of our Alumni Ambassadors, these graduates remain connected to their alma mater and to one another, creating a network based on mutual support, knowledge exchange and friendship.
Alumni Ambassadors: Connecting IMC Krems graduates worldwide
Our Alumni Ambassadors are graduates who volunteer their time and expertise to strengthen the IMC community in their current city, region or country. By leading local Alumni Chapters, they serve as points of contact for fellow alumni, organise networking activities and support students who are undertaking internships, exchange semesters or starting their careers abroad.
Their contribution helps ensure that the IMC Krems experience does not end at graduation. Instead, it becomes the foundation for lifelong connections that span industries, cultures and continents.
Today, active IMC Alumni Chapters can be found across Austria and around the world, including:
- Algier – Lisa-Maria Kronreif
- Basel – Danielle Joseph
- Barcelona – Alexander Schlacher
- Bratislava – Raduz Dula
- Bucharest – Ana Goicea
- China – Konstantin Kotek
- Hongkong SAR – Jennifer Veigel & Patrick Veigel
- Klagenfurt/Carinthia – Andrea Mandl-Holzer
- Linz – Kevin Hinterreiter
- London – Sandra Steinhauer
- Madrid – Barbara Rannegger
- Prague – Jan Krames
- Salzburg – Katharina Scharnreitner
- San Francisco Bay Area – Eva Reder
- Singapore – Vera Maier & Philipp Merten
- Vienna – Jacqueline Berger & Gerhard Pronegg
- Vietnam (Hanoi) – Charles Dao & Lam Tạ Thị Thanh
- Australia – Lena Benn, Juliane & Martin Wisata
These ambassadors help create welcoming local communities where alumni can exchange professional insights, expand their networks and stay connected with IMC Krems.
Supporting students through alumni engagement
One of the most valuable aspects of the Alumni Ambassador Network is its impact on current students. Alumni often provide first-hand advice on living and working abroad, share career insights and offer guidance during internships or exchange semesters.
For students relocating to a new city or country, having an established IMC contact on the ground can make the transition significantly easier. This creates a powerful cycle of support: former students help the next generation navigate international opportunities, strengthening the sense of community that defines IMC Krems.
Expanding the network: Programme Brand Ambassadors
In addition to our international Alumni Chapters, IMC Krems is currently expanding its ambassador concept through the introduction of Programme Brand Ambassadors. These graduates represent specific degree programmes and help strengthen connections between current students, alumni and academic communities.
The first group of Programme Brand Ambassadors includes:
- Ergotherapie – Lena Ulrich
- Informatics – Selin Meseli
- Gesundheitsmanagement – Isabella Fally & Valentina Macho
- International Business Management – Stella Zubakova
- Management – Tobias Sattler
- Management von Gesundheitsunternehmen – Isabella Fally
- Marketing – Benedetta Doro & Luke Baldacchino
By sharing their experiences, supporting prospective and current students and representing their programmes within the wider IMC Krems community, these ambassadors help foster lasting engagement long after graduation.
A community that lasts beyond graduation
The Alumni Ambassador Network demonstrates that the IMC Krems experience extends far beyond earning a degree. Whether through local chapter activities, mentoring opportunities or programme-based engagement, our ambassadors help create meaningful connections between graduates, students and the university.
As our international community continues to grow, so does the impact of this network. Thanks to the dedication of our Alumni Ambassadors, IMC Krems graduates can find familiar faces, valuable support and professional opportunities wherever life takes them – reinforcing the idea that once you are part of IMC Krems, you remain part of a global community for life.
