A milestone for 450 alumni: Autumn graduation ceremonies at IMC Krems

Joy, proud families and memorable moments characterised the autumn graduation ceremonies at IMC Krems. From 20 to 22 October 2026, 450 graduates from 14 bachelor degree programmes and 10 master degree programmes were honoured for successfully completing their studies.

Around 2,000 guests joined the celebrations, marking this important academic achievement together with the alumni. Family members, friends, lecturers, programme directors and the university management team attended the ceremonies.

A ceremonial conclusion to a successful academic journey

The graduation ceremonies took place in the event hall at the IMC Campus Krems and marked the official conclusion of a formative chapter in the graduates’ lives. During the ceremonies, the graduates were introduced, took their graduation pledge and were awarded their academic degrees. Among those congratulating the graduates were CEO Ulrike Prommer, CEO Udo Brändle, Authorised Signatory and Head of Marketing Michaela Sabathiel, Chief Operating Officer Bernhard Dollensky, Academic Head Andreas Lichtenwörther, Deputy Academic Head Tanja Ihden, as well as the respective programme directors.

Family members and friends who were unable to attend in person also had the opportunity to follow the ceremonies via livestream.

By completing their studies, the graduates become part of the international IMC Alumni Community, enabling them to remain connected to their alma mater long after graduation. The celebrations reflected the values that define IMC Krems: academic excellence, internationalisation, diversity, innovation and the conviction that education extends far beyond the completion of a degree.

Looking to the future with knowledge, experience and a strong network

“The graduation ceremonies mark a significant milestone in the lives of our graduates. Every degree represents commitment, perseverance and personal growth. We are delighted to remain connected with our alumni through our international network and wish them every success and fulfilment in the next chapter of their journey,” emphasises Andreas Lichtenwörther.

Tanja Ihden also highlights the importance of this special milestone: “A university degree is far more than an academic title. It represents the knowledge, experience and international perspectives our graduates have gained during their time at IMC Krems. These achievements provide an excellent foundation for actively shaping and addressing the challenges of the future.”
