IMC Talk: Leadership in International Tourism: Strategy, People and Markets

We are very pleased to welcome Sandra Neukart, COO Austrian National Tourist Office & IMC tourism graduate (first cohort 1998), as our keynote speaker.

What does effective leadership look like in an international environment that is constantly evolving? And what does successful tourism communication require to reach people across national and cultural boundaries?

This keynote provides practical insights into the work of the Austrian National Tourist Office and explores how strategic responsibility, leadership and international market communication work together. The session will focus on three key questions:

  • How can leaders take responsibility at the intersection of strategy, people and markets?
  • How does international tourism communication work today?
  • Why are networks, innovation and cultural understanding essential for professional success?

The event is part of the course “Global Tourism Dynamics” in the bachelor degree programme Tourism and Leisure Management and is open to all interested students, alumni and tourism experts. Take this opportunity to gain practical insights, discover new perspectives on international careers in tourism and expand your professional network.
